The teachers of the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University were honored at the first Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Mathematics Teaching Seminar

On November 23, 2018, the 8th Beijing Mathematics Teachers Forum and the first Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Mathematics Teaching Seminar, sponsored by the High School Committee of Beijing Mathematical Society, was held in Beijing No. 5 Middle School。

In this seminar, Academician Zhou Xiangyu is specially invited to give a report on mathematics popularization "Starting from Complex Numbers", and Professor Wang Jianming is specially invited to give a theme report "Mathematics Curriculum Reform and Examination Content Reform -- Taking Innovative Application as an Example".。Eleven outstanding teachers from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Hebei offered demonstration courses in mathematics for middle and high schools. Vice President Zhao Hongyan of our school made wonderful comments on some demonstration courses as a special expert. Teacher Zhang Su's demonstration course "Dialogue across Time and Space - Pythagorean Theorem" was well received。

The paper and teaching design awards of this forum were evaluated anonymously, and the evaluation committee was composed of special teachers and professors. After the evaluation committee, 44 first prizes, 141 second prizes and 192 third prizes were selected for the paper and teaching design, and a total of 377 people were awarded。Our school won the most awards among the participating schools。

Qi Yachao, Zhang Su and Xu Rong won the first prize in the thesis.Wang Kunyao, Wang Huixing, Fang Dan, Bi Jiayu, Liu Biduo and Lang Chunyu won the second prize in the paper;Wang Kunyao, Liu Xiangjun and Xiao Na won the third prize.

Yin Lina and Xu Rong won the first prize of teaching design;Li Na and Zhang Na won the second prize of teaching design;Xiao Na and Xu Rong won the third prize for teaching design。Teachers Yin Lina and Xu Rong, as representatives of the first prize of thesis and instructional design, gave a keynote speech in the afternoon exchange discussion。
